Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) assist Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) in delivering behavior-analytic services.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) partner with a BCBA to assist with implementing evidence-based programs for behavioral reduction and skill acquisition.  

  • Implement all Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by BCBA supervisor.

  • Complete daily documentation and progress updates.

  • Coordinate with BCBA to modify client’s BIP.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • RBT credential a plus (not required at time of employment).

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Pass a criminal background check.

  • Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • 3 professional references required.

We provide on-going training with our BCBAs, every three months, to ensure your success as an RBT. We believe in fully supporting our RBTs and ensuring progress with their clients. We value putting RBTs into the field that are prepared and confident to provide the best therapy for a client.

If you’re missing or expired for any of the items listed above we will sign you up and even help to pay for the training you need for:

  • First Aid Certificate

  • CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) Certificate

  • Article 9. Managing Inappropriate Behaviors

  • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card


(we’ll help you sign up but you will be responsible to pay the $75 fee)

**You certainly may interview and move forward with the hiring process without the above required items but you will not be able to start working until you have obtained them.**
